Thanks for flagging up Melly. I've entered but am not showing on the list of entrants on the BC website. Hopefully I'll get a ride.

Best regards

John

Looks like the 3/4 race is pretty fully booked, so any last takers? I'm strongly considering - it would fit well in my race schedule between a Tuesday Chevin and a following Thursday NYERRL. Does anyone know the course? Could anyone give me a lift up there? (And why are they starting so ghastly early?!).

I asked the organiser. Circuit is the well used Walkington circuit. Long drag up then a short, sharp climb near finish but all big ring and tends to be a fast bunch sprint in recent years. Drag can be bloody hard work in a cross wind!

That drag is 3 miles of Hell.

It's Walkington rather than N. Newbald circuit then?

Yeah it is. He sent me a map of it. Drag is fine when you're fit and at the front. Not so good if the opposite applies ;-)
