2 Day Race

This looks pretty exciting:

'lkley CC's Deux Jours en Mai – Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th May 2014

A two day stage race for 2/3/4 cats, entries will need to be as a team of three riders.
Saturday’s racing will include a short road stage in the morning, probably around 40 miles and then a team time trial in the afternoon, distance TBD. Sunday’s final stage will around a 60 mile road stage.'

Just seen this on the British cycling website to enter. Do you think the organiser will let 2 teams ride, seems we have more than 3 volunteers.

I'll drop the organiser an email, but I'm sure will depend on how many other clubs enter etc. Normally clubs are allocated up to around 5 or 6 slots in road races so it may well be possible.

Just seen the race HQ is at Beckwithshaw, i.e. Pennypot Lane circuit

No reply from the organiser, but judging by his comments on the event page I think one person needs to enter the three people in his/her team.

So who's interested? Then we can get some entries sorted...

Howdy folks

The closing date for entries is looming now and so I'd like to get a team together and get us entered.

So far I have JohnS and myself in a team (if you're still keen John? I've pm'd ya) and so I'm just looking for one other. Martin, did you ever enter the Huddersfield race, or would you still be up for this?

Andy I would love to take part in something like this.... but I know my limitations, I will however get involved and will put the bike racks on the car and drive as Team support/mechanic behind the race if this is allowed/required.

Entry closes on Friday and it'd be a shame to miss such a great opportunity!
