Weds 28th March - Castle Howard Ride

Post by Jez »

Now that we can start to enjoy the great weather once more, the Wednesday night rides are to commence with the old favourite Castle Howard.

Meet up at usual spot (Coneythorpe Crossroads) for a 7pm start. Although spring is virtually here, it's not summer yet so will of course need some lights.

Please advise if you will be riding.

Jez - I'll be there :)

MarkL - Wednesday nights are perfect if you're new/haven't ridden for a bit/feeling a bit low on fitness so always get yourself out. We wait for everyone and the aim of the evening is to have a nice ride out on a "summer's" evening. It's not a race.

Looks like we'll have a nice group size tomorrow, and the weather should be fantastic too.

Ros - happy to provide a lift - shall we say I'll plan to be at yours about 6.20pm?

Big John,

You're more than welcome to a lift. Shall we say 5.45? At the back gate to St. John's? It's in Garden Street.

Sure thats fine with me, 5.45 I'll be there. Thanks very much.

Also what sort of bikes do you usualy regard as the norm for the rides; hardtails, xc full suss...a mixture?? Plus do you all carry the usual hydration & nutrition plus standard equipment & spares in camelback style packs?

Thanks
Mike
