Hi All

I am taking part in my first race on the 1st April (hurray). Unfortunately, I don't have any Clifton kit. I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any old kit (jersey/gilet etc) that they could sell?

I am 5'8'' and 10 stone so reckon s/m would be good.

I tried Cycleworks a few weeks ago but they didn't have anything in my size. I don't think I'll get the chance to go in this weekend.

Maybe an "old" "old" jersey ie one of the original red and black ones from Portugal

For racing there is "logo" issue with old kit but this may not bother you

Hi Martin
If your race is a British Cycling run Event you may not be able to race in the old club strip. The new kit colours and design are registered with BC

If I remember from previous postings on this question, for 4th cats at least, there is no BC 'official colours' restriction - the only thing you can't do is wear the official colours of another team (like replica kit etc...). So old kit (which from the commonsense point of view at least identifies you as a Clifton rider) should be ok.

As per Tom's posting, even "plainclothes" is fine as a 4th cat - just don't turn up in pro team replica kit.

I think I'll get myself some of the new club kit as I would hate to fall foul of a sudden rule change.
