Xmas bash

Post by Tullio »

Some of you have been suggesting doing something around Xmas.

Suggestions so far:

1. Meal out in York
2. Karting night then out somewhere afterwards - possibly challenging Simon's Rambling Club.
3. Pub Crawl
4. Staying in & watching X-Factor final

I've suggested a pub meal after the Club run on 20th December which we could do instead of or aswell as any of the above. We just need to get something sorted quickly as things are likely to get booked up pretty fast.

Discuss....

Any volunteers to organise.......?

They all sound great to me, except I'll be away on the 20th.

If I had to choose it would be karting. If we have the numbers to get the place to ourselves it's great fun. How about a cristmas curry afterwards at haxby jinnah, then I think you can leave cars there and stagger into town to round the night off...

Would be in favour of food and a drink. Not sure about the Karting - sounds expensive to me....

Might be away on the 20th December - got tentative arrangements for then already.

F1 Karting can do 'mini Suzuka' - 10 laps qualifying, 15 Lap race.
£20 a head for for about 20 folks. Add £6 each for a buffet if you like, theres a Bar there too.

Thay have limited time slots available on the 12th, and more choice on the 19th, but we would need to book pretty soon.

Any takers?

possibly challenging Simon's Rambling Club.
:o :o :o

YMC will be having a night out this weekend, I will post more details as I have them and all CCC will be invited!

Paul, Were are you planning to ride on Sunday 20th Dec?

I have my old santa suit from last year that needs killing off, so I propose that we ride in santa suits on the 20th

OK how about a Karting session then on to Town for Curry & Beer (or Beer then Curry)? Then people can dip in and out of the bits they want to join in with.

I like the sound of a 'Santa' ride on 20th.

Chris (W) you sound like you've already done a bit of research. Do you fancy a bit of organising? If you pop it on the General Discussion Board too you might get some interest from the wider audience..and of course extend the invite to the Ramblers via Simon. My preference would be for either 4th or 18th. I can't do 12th weekend at all.

I only suggest 4th and 18th as I know people want to ride on 6th and 20th so may be reluctant to party too hard if we go for a Sat.
