Orange ST4

Hi All,

I've found an Orange ST4 frame for sale for a heavily discounted price of £745 and am quite tempted by it.

Has anyone ridden one or know anyone who has? Any opinions good or bad wanted!

Cheers,

Tom.

Adventure Race

I've signed up with a friend to do the Deerstalker. A 5K (or 10K) fell/adventure fun run which just happens to be based at Innerleithen. Its on Saturday 20th March, costs £14 to enter if you do it this month and you get camping included in that price. Its supposed to be a reet good laugh, but pretty ...

Well Dalbeattie is only a few minutes away from the accommodation so seems silly not to go there on one of the days. If anyone else doesn't mind a 45 min drive I'd happily do the red/black at Kirroughtree. Ae is ~40 mins (we did that this weekend but it has plenty to offer! 24Km red, jump park ...

I think Mikael and I did the Red in around two hours once. I thought he was caning it and I didn't want to slow him down and spoil his ride so I upped my pace to match. Turned out he was thinking the same thing about me! Boy did I sleep well that night. Have never been able to repeat it though. In ...

Hi Ian welcome to the forum/club.

You sound like a rather tall chap so when you do bite the bullet and splash your cash on a shiny new (or 2nd hand bargain) bike you might want to consider a 29'er.

A 'regular' mountain bike comes with wheels that have a 26" diameter. These are fine for most ...

Hi Gill,

Fortunately it stayed dry just long enough for us to finish, but the heavens opened on the way back to the car so we still got a soaking.

After the race I was feeling a bit euphoric/weak with hunger and in a moment of madness signed up to do the Great North Run this September!!! So as ...

Charity and masochism

I'm not sure if many of you were aware but this weekend I participated in the Great Manchester Run (10Km) on behalf of the mental health charity Mind. Should've trained a bit more but I nailed it a fairly respectable time of 51 mins and 18 secs and came 6075th out of more than 30,000 runners!

If ...

Hope QR seat post clamp 2009

Purchased this as a temporary measure until I could get my hands on a blue one. Has been used a couple of times but cleaned up and is unmarked except for where the brass gubbins rubs on the metal bit (you know what I mean!)

30.0mm, black.

RRP £20

Yours for a tenner.

If you live in or around York ...
