Just thought I would point out there's some clifton cc marker arrows still pinned on a road sign which points down that little road into stamford bridge - past the caravan park. also one in the village pointing up church road.

Time trialled every weekend from march to end of august.
PB's at all distances this year.

10 miles = 21:23
25 miles = 57:13
50 miles = 1:57:19
BAR short (10,25,50) ave speed = 26.6157 mph.

4th at margham park NPS in the open class.
Top ten finish in Midlands XC series open class.
Not mentioning ...

good weekend for testing. Me and andy johno both going under the hour for a 25 mile tt. A pb for me 58.24 and andy 58.46. Nige gos also 57.37 and wait for it...phil graves 50.55......amazing time.

2008 has been a good year as a whole.Well I have been flying the clifton flag in the following....

1.First time doing open time trials. Ended up racing every weekend and PB at all distances.Bit of a step up from the club spoco events that I have only previously done.In particular a 22:33 on a 10.

Very shortly I will have a Bianchi mega pro aluminium frame for sale.Its in celeste green and is sized 51cm. I will be putting the original chromoly forks back on minus a threaded headset. Had an awesome weekend down at newnham park, plymouth.I rode the bontrager 24/12 mtb event in the 12 hour solo male class. I finished 11th overall out of 54 finishers. Well pleased .

Whos organising the spoco tonight ?

I spoke to ian holmes last week and said I was interested in marshalling this week, but I just want it confirming if I am still needed.

Lovely weather......turned up for a time trial with andy johno today, big clap of thunder then the heavens opened. Event got cancelled due to weather !

A 10m TT on saturday, not a p.b but a good workout (23.02)
Gonna have to stop drinking wine the night before races I think nige gos did a good 21.06.Sunday had a good training ride and incorporated watching the roadrace out at hovingham.

Well that was my first RR this season, I said I wasnt gonna RR this year, just time trialling, but I got tempted yesterday and I actually enjoyed it.Plenty of action but just got boxed in out of the final corner so just cruised over the line.Hope to do the rest of the series (work permitting).

When we did it last year I entered on the day in the tent on the knavesmire.
