Yep, actually I pinned on number 13 for my friend the wrong way round ( purposefully ) - it's a superstition thing (sorry if that's a bit silly?). Told him to shout out the number next time, so (if he ever does get unlucky 13 again) it shouldn't be an issue. Apologies for the confusion caused ...

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their help last night: Rob, James, Phil, Andy J etc... (I was the one that came off on the final corner)

Pleasant wait in A and E, had the cuts cleaned etc., but no need for stitches/suchures. Just very stiff and sore now, more annoyed by missing out on ...

Hey,

Another chaingang newbie - is there one this Tuesday?

How long are they time/distance-wise? By the way, I'd say it's 90% likely that I'll get dropped, but chaingangs should be great for improving my speed...

There'll be lots of road riding next term too... last summer we went to lots of Clifton TTs.

Another great TT... just to be a pedant, I'm tempted to say the course was a bit longer than 12.5 miles... maybe 13. Just to get the average speeds up? :wink:

Travelling back to uni with the Clifton brigade was something else. Averaged faster than the TT itself, despite (or because of) a maniac ...
