Re Cycleworks chaingang, yes it has started, Tuesday goes north via flaxton and Easingwold, and Thursday via Pocklington. Meet at 6 outside the shop. About 20 turned up tonight.

What a good race that was!

I was really impressed with how Clifton performed, particularly good efforts from Tim, Andy, Jacob and Cam. I think some working together to control the front of the race on the last lap would yield some good results.

It was an excellent ride and I agree with John, let's try and extend the ride a little; we are still getting back before 12. Lots of good riders out yesterday, I was particularly impressed by Wayne, fresh from a dose of blood clot on the lungs.

It was definitely a fast race last night. The average speed was just over 25mph but we peaked in the sprint going 37mph which was impressive. I'm just thankful that there are a lot of experienced riders in the group and few muppets.

Think also about your food intake too Mart. A few more carbs could do you some good, your physique is designed for hill climbing.
